It was Scarlett O’Hara in “Gone with the Wind”, who said “After all, tomorrow is another day”.
We can spend (and waste) so much time and energy on what we should or shouldn’t have done or what could happen that we have little time and energy for what’s important – now.
So if things didn’t go to plan today. Perhaps we didn’t eat as healthily as we would have liked or we didn’t manage to finish a task, then let’s not beat ourselves up. Let’s take a deep breath and start afresh tomorrow.
I love the wisdom of Ralph Waldo Emerson ………….
“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
