Frank, whose fab blog is “Dutch Goes the Photo”, has set “LAND” as the topic for this week’s Photo Challenge.
See https://dutchgoesthephoto.net/2017/01/31/tuesday-photo-challenge-land/
When I read the word “Land”, I immediately called to mind William Blake’s poem “Jerusalem”, whose last line is “In England’s green & pleasant Land”
One such green and pleasant land is the view shown here. I had the pleasure of visiting the Kirkstone Pass, Cumbria last autumn. Incredible beauty set off by some late September sunshine.
Such is a panacea for all the craziness in our world right now ………..
To quote another poet (Browning) ……………
“All’s right with the world.”
.
A beautiful photo and it brings back many happy memories from our Cumbrian years ☺

Thank you. It brought back lots of memories for me too. I used to Youth Hostel in the Lakes many moons ago 🙂
